FKA Twigs Dances for Spike Jonze & Apple

In a new TV spot titled Welcome Home for Apple’s Homepod, Apple has gathered some of the finest creative talents around.

Directed by Her mastermind Spike Jonze, the talented director has roped in progressive pop queen FKA twigs for a four-minute-plus performance with music courtesy of hip-hop artist Anderson.Paak who wrote the new title ‘Til It’s Over’ for the video.
The short film stars FKA Twigs in a mindbending dance performance where after coming home from a long days work she finds herself with powers such as moving around parts of the room and furniture to her will and self-replicating.
Apart from a flurry of back catalogue releases in 2016 and new ventures such as her own Instagram magazine, this is probably the biggest return to the public eye since her last full-length LP titled LP1 was out in 2014.

Spike Jonze’s 2016 commercial for Kenzo won him widespread critical acclaim featuring Margaret Qualley which if we’re not mistaken looks and feels quite similar to the Apple advertisement. Check it out below.
