Flawless Looking Tables That Resembles The Ocean

Imagine you walked into someone’s house and saw these. Lagoon-like objects jumping out at you resembling something from a fantasy 3-D printer. These spectacular tables are the brainchild of French designer Alexandre Chapelin, combining materials such as wood, marble and resin, the blend creates this dramatic translucent effect with hues of dark blue, aquamarine and more. After a painstaking design process, resin is layered and poured in over the top of the basin and with different materials then creates spectacular colours that mirror the coral reefs.

Influenced by the location of his dream like studio hideaway on the Caribbean Island of Saint Martin, Alexandre never makes two tables the same. These works of art will set you back anywhere between 5,500 and 11,000 Euros. Check out more of Alexandre Chapelin’s stuff here.
