Trailer: Timothée Chalamet & Steve Carell Break Your Heart In ‘Beautiful Boy’
The first trailer has been released for the anticipated indie drama, Beautiful Boy. It sees the “Call Me By Your Name” heartthrob Timothée Chalamet teaming up with Steve Carrell in this tearjerker father-son drama. It follows Chalamet’s heartbreaking methamphetamine addiction which alludes to the current opioid crisis plaguing America.
The film is based on two best-selling memoirs by David and Nic Sheff, and sees Steve Carell play the father of a son who falls victim to addiction. The film follows Carell as he tries to bring Chalamet back from the edge.
Chalamet has become one of the hottest properties in Hollywood and earned enormous praise in 2017 for his tender role in the breakout film “Call Me By Your Name,” directed by Luca Guadagnino.
Amazon Studios will be distributing the film and Brad Pitt will act as one of its producers. Expect this film to be up for Oscar nominations come awards time.
The film is released on October 12th.
