Everyone’s favourite documentary filmmaker, the legendary Werner Herzog turns his attention to the technological revolution with this new documentary, Lo and behold, Reveries of the Connected World.
The film explores the age of information that humanity suddenly finds itself in and it’s impact on every aspect of our lives. Opening with archive footage of an early computer demonstration, this trailer sets the tone that we can expect from the film. Laughable and at the same time quietly disconcerting, it immediately makes you realise how far technology has come in such a short time. Herzog’s familiar voice boldly declares in his inimitable voice, “This is an extraordinary moment in the life of human beings.”
Lo and behold, Reveries of the Connected World is yet to be released commercially but premiered on the festival circuit last month and has already achieved critical acclaim.
